Marvels' Mangaverse: Volume 1-3 Impression

mangaverse Volume One: Manga + Marvel = One of the best comic books that I have read and seen. Eight different comics in the first volume of marvel mangaverse. This volume has the best of the best in the marvel universe in anime form. If you really like the x-men, ghost rider, spider-man, fantastic four and more marvel characters, this comic book is for you. It takes you into the world of marvel but with a fresh new look. All of our favorite characters are re-design into the famous Japanese art called "Anime". This manga type book has excellent character designs, colors, and stories. You will enjoy it and be inspired by every page you see and read. Volume Two: The legendary super-hero "Captain Marvel" is the focus of the first half of the volume. Written by Ben Dunn and Kevin Gunstone, this volume offer interesting stories of "captain marvel" and "the Avengers". Everything you know about the American marvel universe is different from the marvel mangaverse. Ben Dunn does the artwork and he is just excellent in what he does. He brings this comic to life with his style of anime mix in with the characters of marvel. Its a comic book like no other that shows the different marvel characters in a style that makes me wish I was in the mangaverse. The second half of the volume has the "Avengers" and "Fantastic Four" battling against the greatest evil that the planet ever seen, "Dr. Doom". There are a lot of twists in the mangaverse. Some characters that should of been guys are switch to girls. This just added to the twist and fun that the comic offers. If you are a die-hard anime fan and a marvel fanatic, this comic book is for you. Volume Three: Spider-Man is here! Finally I got the issue of Mangaverse that has my favorite wall-crawler, SPIDER-MAN. Personally this is my favorite super-hero, so of course I'll say this is the best comic book I ever read. I like how Marvel changed his character into a kid instead of a college student. The many twists and turns that this issue offers are just excellent. From Mary J. Watson to the Venom Clan, this issue has each character as unique than the original Marvel form. This comic draws you into a universe that blows your mind and rethinks the life of Peter Parker. They still have the famous words that Peter Parker Sensei once told him, "With great power comes great responsibility." These words will play on and through out the story. The other great part of the story is that they are introducing many of Peter's friends and enemies. I was surprised when Doctor Octopus was his teacher. This just added some more depth into the plot and made it more interesting to read. If you can get a hold of this Volume, I extremely recommend this book for all the spidey fans.
