The headline for the movie says “2 guys, 300 girls… You Do the Math.” Seeing the previews for this movie made me think I was going into another Bring it on but since the two main characters it changed the whole dynamic of the movie.
Shawn Colfax (Nicholas D’Agosto) and Nick Brady (Eric Christian Olsen) are the two biggest stars of their high school football team and are also the biggest players on campus. Bored with the monotony of what they’ve already got Shawn and Nick make a plan to head out to Cheerleading camp. In camp they encounter all types of crazy situations. The movie is spattered with tons of very comedic and witty lines along with situational humor that just makes it all too fun of a movie. It even pays tribute to a few other specific movies in passing. There are tons of stereotypes and such but it’s all in good fun.
On its outside it looks like a “chick flick” but I have to say that it shines through comedy-wise; enough so that you could essentially watch this movie with just about anyone. If you’re looking for good laugh during midday then I’d suggest this movie; it’d probably also make a good date movie. I personally would pay to go see the movie again.
