Recently a lot more movies have been coming out that tend to be really grounded in reality. After starring in Forgetting Sarah Marshall Jason Segel makes his return to the screen this time as Syndey Fife. Also along for the ride are Paul Rudd(Peter Klaven), Rashida Jones(Zooey), and Andy Samberg(Roby Klaven).
All his life Peter Klaven has been a girlfriend guy. In growing up he hasn’t changed his habits; however Peter is getting married (Zooey) and has no best man. He goes on a series of man-dates in an attempt to find the one. Of course as a result he ends up in quite a few awkward positions, all the time with the support of his fiance. After finding Sydney, Peter’s life changes and he starts spending a little more time away. Peter’s manhood is awakened and he learns about what he has been missing.
To me the movie itself was pretty great. The storyline was cool. I wasn’t as impressed with this movie. It still had me laughing hysterically but I must say it wasn’t the best work. It might be because I went in with some higher expectations. I would watch it again though definitely. As per the demographic of the movie It’s sort of a buddy movie/date movie.
